After a challenging year marked by a serious accident, Jeremy Renner, known for his role as Hawkeye, made a triumphant return to the spotlight at the People’s Choice Awards. 

Renner, who broke more than 30 bones in an accident involving his own snow plough last January, received a warm welcome from both fans and fellow celebrities at the ceremony.

Emotional Return

Taking the stage at Sunday’s ceremony, Renner expressed his gratitude for the support he received during his recovery, stating, “I’ve got to say, it feels good to be back.” 

His fellow Marvel star Tom Hiddleston joined the audience in giving Renner a standing ovation, showcasing the bond among members of the Marvel universe.

Renner was visibly moved by the crowd’s reaction, acknowledging the unwavering support of his fans, whom he described as “the best.” 

Despite the challenges he faced, Renner’s resilience and determination shone through as he returned to the spotlight with grace and gratitude.

During the ceremony, Renner had the honor of presenting the TV performance of the year award to Billie Eilish for her work in the comedy horror show Swarm. His presence on stage underscored his resilience and commitment to his craft despite the obstacles he encountered.
