LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers has been selected by the New York Giants as the sixth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, bringing his talent to the Big Apple.

The 6-foot junior, known for his exceptional performance at LSU, is poised to make an impact in professional football.

College Achievements:

A unanimous All-American in his junior year, Nabers showcased his prowess on the field with impressive stats.

During his time at LSU, he recorded 89 receptions for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier wide receiver.

Nabers also holds the distinction of being LSU’s all-time leader in receiving yards, with an impressive total of 3,003 yards.

Addressing Team Needs:

The Giants’ decision to draft Nabers addresses a significant gap in their roster, particularly in the wide receiver position.

With their last 1,000-yard receiver being Odell Beckham Jr. in 2018, the addition of Nabers is seen as a strategic move to bolster their offensive lineup.

Nabers joins a group of talented receivers on the Giants’ roster, including Jalin Hyatt, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Darius Slayton, to provide a much-needed No. 1 option.

Collegiate Accolades:

Nabers’ collegiate career was marked by notable achievements, including being named Citrus Bowl MVP two seasons ago and earning First-team All-SEC honors last season.

His consistent performance and accolades in college position him as a promising asset for the Giants as they strive for success in the upcoming NFL season.
