The innovative tech company has announced the global unveiling of its Nothing Phone (2a) on March 5 at 11:30 GMT or 17:00 IST. CEO Carl Pei hinted that the upcoming smartphone will be more affordable than its predecessor.

Focus on Performance and Camera:

In an official video, Pei emphasized the importance of performance and camera quality for the Nothing Phone (2a), highlighting the team’s focus on design innovation and software while delivering a great user experience.

Expected Specifications:

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nothing Phone (2a) is anticipated to be around $400 globally or approximately ₹30,000 in India. 

The smartphone is supposed to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ulta chipset. 

The camera setup may include dual 50MP rear sensors and a 32MP front-facing shooter, catering to photography enthusiasts and selfie lovers.

Nothing OS 2.5 and Fast Charging Support:

The Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to run on the company’s proprietary Nothing OS 2.5, based on the Android 14 operating system. Additionally, it may feature support for 45W fast charging, ensuring quick and efficient power replenishment.

Official Specifications to Be Revealed at Launch Event:
